Your Horse Holiday at Trenearne Farm, Padstow.
Trenearne Farm is a traditional Cornish farm run by Steven and Claire O'Hagan, a local couple they enjoy family life with three young children while running the livery yard and a plant hire firm.
You will be welcomed in to their yard which is completely secure, safe and designed with the horse in mind. They live on site in the farmhouse and so are available 24hrs a day in case of emergencies, giving you peace of mind.
They believe in a family friendly yard, and hope to see you bringing the whole family to enjoy lovely Cornwall.
You can store your lorry or trailer in our yard, where it will be kept safe until you need it again, if you wish to stay in your lorry for the duration of your holiday, this can be arranged by contacting us directly.
Your horse will be kept to your specifications ie. stabled, turned out, full or part livery etc. We ask you to bring with you all the tack, hats & riding equipment you require, it can be kept in our locked dry store, and all the feed you wish your horse to have, (except hay / haylage). This is to prevent colic and is essential if you wish your horse to be fed hard feed during his stay.
Following contact with us we will send you booking forms and a temporary livery contract to sign and return. This is compulsory or your booking will not be confirmed and your deposit returned.
You can spend the time you have in Cornwall any way you wish, no timetables, no waiting for other groups, no restrictions,no dictation on when or where you wish to ride. Just ring us half an hour before you wish to ride and we will have your horse ready to go! Gallop across Harlyn Bay in the morning, enjoy lunch at Rick Steins famous restaurant and then take the children surfing in the afternoon, it is all on your doorstep!
Experience a different ride every day, choosing from dozens of beaches, farm tracks and fields, 18 miles of Camel Trail or spectacular cliffs that will take your breath away.
You can choose to take one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides with you who will show you all the best locations, ( pre-booking essential and an extra fee will be incurred) or explore on your own with maps and directions that we can provide for free.
